Selah Travel is excited about our journey to the Motherland! We will experience the history, culture and sites of South Africa during our stay. September is in the Spring, with temperatures averaging 65-75 degrees, and airfares and travel costs are at lower levels. And South Africa is seven hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time.

A visa is required for South Africa. It is free and is a stamp made in your passport when you go through Customs. The passport must have at least two blank pages marked “VISA” and be valid for at least 6 months after we return (March 31, 2021).
The CDC recommends getting Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations. And they advise that you should be up-to-date on these routine vaccines: measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), diphtheria- tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox), polio, and yearly flu shot. Consult with your physician to determine your best options.
